Okay so I know that I haven't written in like forever but it is time to edit. I reached my 50,000 words so that means that I get the free copy of the draft book of my novel so that I can have for forever. But in order to do this then I have to edit what I have written and finish writing the end. So I have quite a bit to do this month and I have a few other projects that I am working on as well. So there is plenty to do and I am going to work on posting it all so that you can follow through with me. So let's get writing. See ya soon.

Day 28 and Just Verified

With less than three days left I decided that even though my novel wasn't finished I would go ahead and send in my word count to make sure that I got in that winners circle. There was such a feeling of pride and accomplishment when I clicked that link. Even through my word count had fallen off so dramatically over the last two weeks and I probably won't reach those famous last two words before Monday (The End) it was great to know that I wanted to write 50,000 words in 30 days, I set out to write 50,000 words in 30 days and by the grace of God I actually wrote 50,000 words in 30 days. And wonder of wonders they are good and it is an interesting story and plot. Plus I still have the rest sitting in my head waiting to get out. If all works out right I like to think that I could be done by the second week in December and be ready to edit when national editing month rolls around in March and that would keep me on track for getting it published before the deadline runs out:D. So amazing!!

Alright I am off to finish my video and I would love to get some extra writing in and get that word count up to 60,000 plus!! Wish me luck:wink:.

I Did It!!!

You did it, writer.

Pitted against a merciless deadline and battling hordes of distractions—including the most tempting fall TV season that's been unleashed upon novelists in decades—you kept at it.

Now you've arrived at a place that very few NaNoWriMo participants ever see: The winner's circle. Overhead, the November sky is bursting with fireworks celebrating your victory, and the entire NaNoWriMo staff joins me in applauding your creative achievement.

You did something amazing this month, novelist. We couldn't be prouder.

We wish you well on your future adventures, and hope to see you for Script Frenzy in April, and have you back again with us for NaNoWriMo next November.

Before you go, though, we have some NaNoWriMo Winner gifts for you! There are two paths to collecting them. We hope that NaNoWriMo meant enough to you that you will take a moment and make a tax-deductible contribution to help bring NaNoWriMo? and the Young Writers Program back in 2010. (If you've already donated, thank you so much!)

Day 23 and Way Off Track

So I thought I was doing good and then bam everything kinda went to crap. My uncle passed away this weekend and that threw everything off. Plus I can't think of how to tie all of my story together for the end. With all the plans going for the next week and only a few days left I think that I am just going to write the different scenes that I have in my head and when we get into editing month I will go back and pull it together.

That said I have a ton of things to do today and so I am going to get off of here. Talk later.

I had so much fun hanging out for my birthday. Not as much fun as I wanted but still fun none the less. Now it's back to work. I made my 50k but my novel isn't done yet I still have quite a ways to go. So I need to get back at it today. I am waiting to hit at least 3000 today but if I can do 5000 or 6000 that would be fabulous.

I am hoping that there will be a way that I can use the laptop one more day and then I should be able to be back on track.

Talk to you later.
